A cool grey soft rainy day,
Washes my cares away.
It patters in symphony upon the ground,
Distant rumble of thunder for added sound.
Wrapped in carefree warmth beside the fire,
Solitude with Jesus , my heart’s desire.
Refill the oil for candles bright burn,
As I sit at Jesus’ feet and learn.
The Son will shine in my life come may,
When I listen and pray.
His strong soft voice to me whispers “Beloved”,
“Come to me my sweet love.”
It’s here my soul will soar on dove’s wings,
He loves me so, my King of Kings.
Nourishing rain to advance life’s need,
Flourishing Reign essential for souls to be freed.
