Waiting on the Lord is like waiting on a plant to bloom.
I have several perennials in my garden, but sometimes I don’t know which young sprouts will be flowers and which ones are weeds. Experience helps me know some, but not all.
Past experience helps me wait with joyful anticipation of blooming flowers.

This beauty will show pretty lavender blooms soon.
But what about those I don’t know. For some, I let them grow until they show their true colors (or lack there of). And then I pull them out as soon as I’m sure they’re not what I want in my garden, or leave them when I discover they’re meant to be there.
And, I have a plant source (app) I can go to to get more info. Just as we have our source (Bible) we can go to. You see, sometimes, whether it is to anticipate joy or throw out the weeds in our lives-God’s got His perfect timing to do the right thing, in the right time and at the right place.
Timing is everything.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11a
And if we fail…. well, He’s got more seeds to sow within us for another try.
